After a test run with combat onboard ships and a larger map on Black Flag, Assassin's Creed Unity marked a return to the franchise's roots through rigorous urban exploration and Day One spots. This version of the adventure community title Parkour Secret showcases Arno, his escalation and killing as the Paris Revolution erupts. After a rocky stadium with game glitches and an angry fanbase, the game turned out to be a very good experience. City planning is perhaps the best feature, as it offers large buildings and familiar landmarks to jump into. However, a lackluster, repetitive story is combined with weak combat to make the final half of the game somewhat challenging. The new co-op mode allows players to cluster together on a few select missions with the unfortunate lack of free roaming.
