Child of Light Download is an Action and Platform video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Child of Light's gameplay is described as having side-scrolling features with RPG elements, such as leveling up to increase stats over time. Battles with enemies use a system similar to the active time battle system found in games such as Final Fantasy and Grandia. The player can control up to two characters during the battle and exchange these two characters for two waiting characters. Up to three enemies can appear during battle. If the player approaches an enemy from behind, the battle becomes a "blitzkrieg," giving the player an advantage.
